009: Wendy Shand – Building a £Multi-million holiday business after a parent’s worst nightmare

Podcast - 009 - Wendy Shand - Tots to Travel

In this episode I interview Wendy Shand, founder of Tots To Travel, a multi-award winning holiday provider, who specialise in providing parents with young children and babies a stress free holiday experience.

Wendy set up Tots to Travel in 2006 after a horrible holiday experience in which her two-year-old fell into an unenclosed pool.

Since then she has grown it into a £multi-million business, with a team of 30 people, providing holidays for 1,000s of families (including celebrities, such as Rachel from S Club 7 and Unmumsy Mum).

She has done all this whilst still having time with her partner Rob, and her three children, now aged between 7 and 14.

In this interview we discuss how she’s balanced business and family, why self-nurture is the starting point for success, where the biggest leaps in progress come from.
