041: Lucy Bartlett – how to run a hugely successful kickstarter campaign

My guest this week is Lucy Bartlett, the co-founder of Bundlebeds. Have you ever thought you’d enjoy camping so much more, if only the sleeping conditions were comfier?

Bundlebeds produce a brand-new type of roll-out camping bed, boasting high levels of home-from-home comfort, but can be rolled out in seconds.

Parentpreneur Lucy, co-found Bundlebeds with James Clark in 2016. They began the enterprise via a kickstarter campaign with the goal of raising £25,000. The campaign was hugely successful, accumulating over £65,000!

There’s plenty of valuable content in this episode, you’ll learn about how they designed the product and got first sales via the kickstarter, as well as how Lucy balances working on her startup and caring for her family.
