070: Vicky Warr – the importance of consumer research

In this week’s episode I am re-interviewing Vicky Warr.

I originally interviewed Vicky 3 months ago and we want so deep into talking about her fitness business that we didn’t get chance to cover childcare and how her business is growing.

As a reminder, Vicky is the Founder and CEO of Bump and Beyond providing Online Exercise Fitness Video and Healthy Eats for Mums/Moms and Mums to be (online, global).

She is a pregnancy and postnatal fitness specialist and nutrition coach, with over 17 years’ experience in the fitness industry.

As a mum of two herself, Vicky helps Mums to be and New mums be fit, healthy and happy during pregnancy and beyond with her online exercise videos and healthy, quick family friendly recipes.

She also helps businesses retain their female talent with her health and wellness interactive healthy eating and fun exercise workshops. She is fitness expert for Gurgle Magazine, the UK’s baby magazine and contributor to BBC radio and consultant to Mothercare.

In this episode we discuss:

  • The importance of consumer research
  • How to hire for values, get referrals and compare people to work out who is the right fit
